 Steel Heads

Steel Head

Wow! What a versitile lure. This model catches everything, has a low cost, and lasts forever. I just lost one that was three years old to a dummy who ran his boat through my spread.

More impressive is that while you hear me touting Daisy Chains and their effectiveness, last week on a VERY slow day out of Palm Beach, none of our three deployed Daisy Chains even got a sniff, while the only bait out of six that got a bite was the Steel Head we had out WFB. We caught the 30lb Dolphin at the top of this page, and two other Dolphin before recognizing the need to place another Steel Head in our spread. 15 minutes later (on the second deployed Steel Head) we hooked a Blue Marlin that we got a few jumps out of before he got wrapped in the leader and broke off. Just goes to show you, you never know what the bait or color dojour will be, so have plenty on hand!

STEEL HEAD - (.375" x 6"- .6oz) A highly polished brass head with  premium chrome plating dressed with bright mylar skirts wich attracts any fish that swims. Use it by itself, in a chain, on a spreader rig or in front of a ballyhoo or strip bait.

It also makes a great weight and dressing for a live bait for Kings or Wahoo. All the fish pictured above were caught with the Steelhead alone and NO MEAT except for the King as the Steel Head was used as a weight & dressing for a live bait.

Used as a weight & Skirt combination for fishing live bait for Kings, the Steel Head is Guaranteed to increase your production!

Catches: Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo, Billfish, Barracuda, King Mackerel, Jacks, Bluefish, & More.

Available rigged on 5.5 feet of 135lb coated cable with 8/0 double strength hook or unrigged.

Remember, FREE SHIPPING on all orders totalling over $99.
